I Feel / Follow Me (remote as thermometer)
The unit controls the room by the temperature measured inside the remote, where you are, instead of by its own sensor up near the ceiling.
What pressing it does
Turn it on and keep the remote near you, pointed at the unit. Airwell’s remote sends its reading every four minutes; Gree asks you to keep the remote away from hot or cold objects so the reading is fair.
What it does not do
It does not measure the temperature at the indoor unit: a remote left in sunshine, by a lamp or in the air stream sends a wrong reading, and Airwell falls back to the unit’s own sensor if the remote goes quiet for more than five minutes.
Makes differ, check your unit’s manual: the same drawing can mean different things on different brands, and only your model’s manual says exactly what a button does and which modes it works in.

Where makers differ
Airwell and Gree call it I FEEL; Midea shows a small person icon for Follow Me on some units. Mitsubishi Electric’s i-see and Daikin’s INTELLIGENT EYE are different: sensors on the indoor unit that look for people.
