Water drop on an Apple Watch: what does it mean?
On an Apple Watch it means Water Lock is on and the screen will not respond to taps.
What Apple says
- Apple Watch — Water Lock. Water Lock is on, and the screen doesn’t respond to taps. Press and hold the Digital Crown to unlock it.

- Samsung’s Water lock mode icon is two drops, not one. Fitbit also has a water lock that puts an icon at the bottom of the screen, but Google’s help page names it without showing what it looks like, so we do not claim it is a drop.
