Iron at low temperature, no steam
Iron at a low setting (soleplate up to 120 °C) with the steam switched off. The crossed-out steam jets under the iron are what separate it from the plain one-dot symbol.

Empty or switch off the steam, set the iron to •, and use a dry pressing cloth if the fabric is shiny.
