Subaru EyeSight warning light (EyeSight Off / Disabled)
Subaru's EyeSight driver-assistance system — the stereo camera behind the windscreen that runs Adaptive Cruise Control, the Pre-Collision Braking System and the lane warnings — has a malfunction. While the yellow indicator is on or flashing, none of the EyeSight functions can be used. A white version of the same indicator means EyeSight has only stopped for a while.

What to do
Yellow: stop the car in a safe place, turn the engine off and restart it. If the indicator stays on, the system has a malfunction: all EyeSight functions stay off, normal driving is still possible, and Subaru says contact a dealer for an inspection. If it lights together with the check engine light, have the car checked by a Subaru dealer as soon as possible. White ('EyeSight Disabled'): clean the windscreen in front of the camera; after poor weather, strong light from the front or very high or low temperatures, EyeSight restarts by itself once conditions improve — if it does not, contact a dealer.

- Yellow: Have it checked soon. The handbook says: “If the indicator continues illuminating or flashing even after the engine has been restarted, the EyeSight system has a malfunction. Normal driving will still be possible. However, contact a SUBARU dealer for an inspection.”
