Keurig K-Supreme and K-Supreme Plus: what the lights mean
Single-serve K-Cup pod brewer
The K-Supreme and the K-Supreme Plus are covered by two Keurig guides that describe their lights in the same words; the only difference is the number of cup sizes (four on the K-Supreme, five on the Plus). Unlike the older K-Select and K-Elite, the K-Supreme has a DESCALE notification that turns on by itself and only goes off after a full descale, and a descale mode opened by holding the 8oz and 12oz buttons with the brewer off. It switches itself off 5 minutes after the last brew — far sooner than the 2 hours of the K-Select and K-Elite.

| Cup-size buttons blinking after you lower the handle | Normal operation: The brewer is on and waiting for a size: lifting and lowering the handle powers it on. |
| Brew button lit steadily | Normal operation: Brewing. |
| DESCALE light on | Descale needed: The descale notification: the brewer wants descaling. |
| Buttons flashing after holding 8oz and 12oz for 3 seconds (brewer off) | Mode running: Descale Mode is on and waiting for you to start each descaling or rinsing brew. |
| ADD WATER light on | Water: The reservoir has run out. |
| No lights: brewer off or shut itself off | Off or no power: Auto Off switches the brewer off 5 minutes after the last brew. |
